Brooklyn
4 -6 hours
Brooklyn. It's old school: Brooklyn dodgers, bohemian villas in Park Slope, hasidic jews, a former navy yard and George Washington's first encounter with the British army. It is creative: art studios in DUMBO, the hipster enclave in Williamsburg, the street art in Bushwick, from Barbra Streisand to Basquiat to Jay Z to the hottest young chefs. It is crazy and weird: West Indian Carnival , Coney Island beach, Luna Park and Mermaid Parade, drinking and poetry in the cemetery. Plus a nice bridge and a pretty good view...
Queens
